Be able to join a certain group, announce rights within this group for +35 level. Encourage people to use their main account.

This has been under review for quite some time. We have a couple of ideas which will be implemented. I will update once they are finalised.

Add a /rematch command that allows the players to safely leave a re'd game
One of the problems with the Exp system is the ability of players to punish people who have legitimately left after a re has been called. I suggest the addition of a /rematch command so that everyone can vote on a re.
Use of this command would require the same number of votes as /vp does, with the exception that if a team 5v3 or less down, they can call for a rematch and the system will prevent them from being punished.

Create a Twilight Client
The server side improvements are a major step forward, but we are limited in terms of what can be done on the server side. What is really needed is a Twilight client, which integrates the launcher, chat client, anti-hacks and so on.

Ranking system
With the new system where players gain -1 punishments for every 100 full games played, if they are on 0 pm's then they should gain a Ranking point indicating exception reliability and consistency.
This would provide a system where players gain an additional bonus of being ranked from 1 through to 5 stars (which means that you have played 500 games without being punished). Ranks could be given titles, for example: Lieutenant, Captain, Major, Colonel and General.
Ranking shows an additional level of reliability and 5 star players can be given privileges :).

Add Award points that can be allocated by admins/operators etc.
Often when a user goes out of their way to be helpful, there is no real way to reward them, adding an Award system would allow administrator, operators etc. to award users for being generally helpful, helping newbies, frequently hosting decent games, assisting by watching a replay and posting screenshots for the admin, assisting with (or even winning) tournaments, and so on. Award points would act as an incentive, and could be gained and lost based on behavior. Players with high award would gain benefits (the primary one being the respect of the admin team, and a measure of trust).

Hide low level Games
For high level accounts,to be able to filter out all the 1-10 level games. So they can only see the more "competitive" games around level 20 +

a more complex “filter” command is planned. In this command you’ll be able to filter things like min level, max level, by group (so you don’t get random idiots joining clannies which are almost always hosted at level 0) and maybe more

enhance the /users command
enhance /users to show how many of each level there are
online currently, so you can judge what level game you should host.above level 30 it should show all users
e.g. /users
There are 1000 users in 20 games
100 above level 30
50 above level 35
30 above level 40if you want to see a specific level as we discussed it could do:
/users =20 which would result in

Enhanced Games Played
Currently the /gp system tells you very little about a player, and with the implementation of the new filter command, a more robust /gp would greatly assist in assuring quality games.
Idealistically one could go about this many ways. My suggestion would be to parse the map file name according to a standard list of maps. An unrecognised map file could be grouped as a Custom Map.
From there the ability to count games played per map type could simply be achieved. This feature would for one enhance the filter command greatly, but could also be used to enhance the… more

Can timestamps be implemented?
just got back from class and saw some announcements and friends going into games. and remembered the old idea of timestamps
the main chat window might be a bit small for a big [XX:XX:XX] stamp. but maybe just a 24hour stamp without seconds? or just adding it to certain events/announcements?

It’s not going to look great, since Warcraft doesn’t natively support timestamps. I will have a command to turn timestamps on/off for normal chat, whispers, and announcements. Example /timestamp +chat will enable timestamping for normal chat. Chat will then come through as “foo: [12:00] bar”. Ugly, but the only way possible. It will also slightly limit the amount of text you can send per line.

A new command to show the total number of games someone has played (for the sake of curiosity for some users).

Simple addition. Hours/minutes online and in-game is also possible. I will probably bundle it all into one command with output: time online, time in-game (playing), time in-game (waiting to start) and games played – where games played is a representation of how many games you got exp for.

It seems to be occurring more frequently now that when people lag out of a game, we are unable to /vp them due to their connections still being "live".
Perhaps the introduction of the /kc command would be helpful!
The alternative is whispering an admin, but usually I just receive a dnd message.

we’re working on either doing something like this, or making players drop from the server quicker.
at the moment i think we’re going to create a command which causes pvpgn to send a “ping” to the client (the client automatically responds to these) and then have like a 30second timeout (maybe a bit longer).

Email verification
Due to smurfing & people getting banned without them receiving an official notice that they have been punished, I would like to suggest that we create a registration page that requires the user to verify his/her email address prior to a new account creation on the PvPGN server!
The emails should be kept private like on the forums and only be used for admin purposes (like notifying of offenses, etc.) I think duplicate email addresses should be allowed, but only to a certain extent - like a maximum of 3 accounts per email?

Twilight ladder system problem again! (Different prob tho)
Hey guys, the ladder war3 melee/arranged teams system doesnt "work" anymore. I posted a previous post about this but it was a different issue, and was fixed the following day. On the following day i played a few games myself, and it worked beautifully. But now all of a sudden (2 days later), whenever the game STARTS in arranged teams, atleast two of us four get disconnected straight away after the minifreeze in the game. Level Stats for w3 channel
I was wondering if its possible to make \levelall or \levelstat command in war3 chat to see how many accounts are what levels, like
There are 114 people in w3
L 0 - 10 = 50
L 11 - 20 = 24
L 21 - 30 = 20
L 31 - 40 = 7
L 41 - 50 = 0
L 51 - 60 = 2
L 61 - 70 = 1
L 71 - 80 = 0
L 81 - 50 = 0

Implement the account /age command
This command will return the age of a user account.
This will be useful for various reasons including but not limited to:
1. User experience level recognition
2. Inquire about legitimacy of an account (i.e. saLdin spoof)The command will function as follows:

Increase/remove the 7 lvl descrepancy gap in custom war3
Ppl like myself who cant handle more than 2 dotas a day tend to play the actuall war3. Problem is when u lvl too high you can't faceoff against most people and pretty much anybody. I Understand that this idea nukes the ladder system as it can be abused, but since this is mostly a dota server and ppl dont w3 anymore anyway is that ladder completey necessary?

Reintroduce the /roll command
I see that the /roll command was removed a few updates back, this was a pretty useful command. It used to be a command and doesn't seem like too much of a mission to implement again.

Bots for specific users only ???
I made a thread on the forum as well: http://www.war3.co.za/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=25280
It basicly says, that cant we Vote for SPECIFIC users that will be allowed to use bots in there games etc.
I suggest this, because many users want to make use of bots for USEFUL reasons, and to abuse it.

A notification of clan members
Hey guys
I just wondered that people on our friends list when joining a game we get a nessage saying"[fw]frenzy has join blista's [25]cm" and the same when they log on or off. What if it can be implemented into clans so it gives the same mesage except it is [cw] instead of [fw]. I like it, do you? :D

Elect new chieftain when one is locked
If a clan chieftain is locked, then elect a random player in the next highest available rank - shaman, grunt, then peon if there is no higher ranked player in the clan.
This avoids major problems when a chieftain's account is locked that essentially prevents the clan from being a clan until the chief is unlocked.
